I bought two pairs of the Cici Jean- one for myself (4’11”) and one for my mom (4’9”). Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect since jeans have always been one of the hardest pieces of clothing for me. I have an athletic build so I have quads and a butt. This always left me to buy a size up which meant the length was too long and the waist too wide. I can’t say enough about this jean! They are amazing quality, thick and forgiving, yet stretchy and comfortable, oh and they actually fit! No hemming or rolling needed. I can finally stop buying capris to wear as normal length jeans!
I decided to put them to the test and used our home gym for a leg workout including full squats. These jeans did not move, held their shape, and could endure full squats. I’m totally sold and can’t wait till more variations of the Short Girl Jean are released. You have two customers for life!
My new favorite jeans! Fits a curvy girl in the waist AND thighs without needing to be altered. I sized up from my normal 27 to a 28. The long length was perfect on me (5'4" for reference)!
I'm ready to buy them in every color (please come out with a medium/dark wash next!). I'm 5'4" with a short waist and the rise on these is perfect! Not too high, not too low. I got the longer length and they hit exactly at my ankle where I like them. The denim is a substantial weight and not too thin so they smooth me out in all the places I'm usually self conscious about. And I almost always have to buy a size larger for my thighs/glutes and get the waist taken in, but no alterations necessary on these! If you're a curvy girl you're going to love these. I went up one size and the fit was spot on!
